Experience
My educational experience has given me a great perspective when I am serving as a tutor. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in English and creative writing from Emory University, and I'm now working toward my Master of Education at Manhattanville College. As a graduate student, I have firsthand experience in leading classes and also in learning from seasoned teachers. Both my undergraduate and graduate experiences have given me a wealth of knowledge in English classes, which also allows me to branch out and tutor other academic areas, like test preparation and mathematics. When it comes to tutoring sessions, I'm glad to offer my students assistance with reading, writing, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, English, preparation for the ACT, PSAT, and SAT, IB Extended Essay, AP-level courses, Regents testing, and college application essays. When I'm not working with my students, I enjoy cheering on the New York Giants, Knicks, and Yankees. I also love watching movies, writing, and spending time with my family and friends.
