Experience
I have never tutored, but for three summers taught an intensive writing course to incoming college freshman. It was a writer's boot camp—convening 5 hours a day for two weeks—designed to help students learn how to think through writing. I have an MFA in Creative Writing and have written extensively for an internet marketing website. I enjoy teaching because I love the written word, enjoy explaining things, and get satisfaction from watching light bulbs go off in students' heads.
