I possess a B.A. in Mathematics as well as a minor in Philosophy. I attended State University in Albany, New York. I graduated two years ago, and have since been employed as a wrestling coach at my local high school. On top of that, I am also a server at a local eatery. While I was in high school, I tutored my fellow peers in everything ranging from basic Math to the dreaded Calculus. I also helped my peers prepare for the SAT. Math is not the only subject I have taught, as I have also helped students with their Spanish. While it's true I have experience tutoring for a wide array of subjects, I have found a particular passion for Math. To be a great tutor, one must understand that every student is different and therefore the same learning style may not work for everyone. I am able to discover the strengths and weaknesses of each individual, and come up with a learning plan that reflects that. Sometimes students struggle with a subject simply because their instructor is not a good fit for them. I believe that the right instructor can make a world of difference when it comes to the success of students. My hobbies include spending time with my loved ones and exercising.
